E-Khatha is the electronic version of the traditional Khatha certificate issued by BBMP or respective municipal bodies in urban areas. It is a digitized property record that confirms property ownership and is essential for paying property taxes, availing utilities, or seeking building plan approvals. It is equivalent to A-Khatha but stored and maintained in a digital format.
Documents Needed
- Registered Sale Deed (photocopy)
- Latest Encumbrance Certificate (EC)
- Property Tax Paid Receipts
- Previous Khatha extract or certificate (if any)
- Approved Building Plan or Layout (if applicable)
- Owner’s ID proof (Aadhaar, PAN, etc.)
