E-Khatha is the electronic version of the traditional Khatha certificate issued by BBMP or respective municipal bodies in urban areas. It is a digitized property record that confirms property ownership and is essential for paying property taxes, availing utilities, or seeking building plan approvals. It is equivalent to A-Khatha but stored and maintained in a digital format.

Documents Needed

  • Registered Sale Deed (photocopy)
  • Latest Encumbrance Certificate (EC)
  • Property Tax Paid Receipts
  • Previous Khatha extract or certificate (if any)
  • Approved Building Plan or Layout (if applicable)
  • Owner’s ID proof (Aadhaar, PAN, etc.)
