Description
Khata Transfer is the process of updating the Khata certificate to reflect a change in property ownership—due to sale, inheritance, gift, or other legal reasons. Based on the area and jurisdiction, this service is available for A Khata (BBMP/CMC), B Khata (unauthorized properties), or E Khata (Gram Panchayat limits).
Documents Needed:
- Registered Sale/Gift/Inheritance Deed
- Latest Property Tax Paid Receipt
- Previous Khata copy (if available)
- EC (Encumbrance Certificate)
- ID proof of current and previous owner
- Death Certificate (in case of inheritance)
- Affidavit or NOC (if applicable)
