Khata Transfer is the process of updating the Khata certificate to reflect a change in property ownership—due to sale, inheritance, gift, or other legal reasons. Based on the area and jurisdiction, this service is available for A Khata (BBMP/CMC), B Khata (unauthorized properties), or E Khata (Gram Panchayat limits).

Documents Needed:

  • Registered Sale/Gift/Inheritance Deed
  • Latest Property Tax Paid Receipt
  • Previous Khata copy (if available)
  • EC (Encumbrance Certificate)
  • ID proof of current and previous owner
  • Death Certificate (in case of inheritance)
  • Affidavit or NOC (if applicable)
